List Of Prime Ministers Of India:- India’s Prime Minister is the leader of India’s executive body. Lal Bahadur Shastri:- Born: 2 October 1904, Mughalsarai, Died: 11 January 1966, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He has given slogan of ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’ during Indo-Pak war of 1965 and was Pm of India from 9 June 1964 to 11 January 1966.

Indira Gandhi:- Born: 19 November 1917, Allahabad, Assassinated: 31 October 1984, New Delhi. She was India’s, first lady prime minister who has been chosen two times. Fist from 24 January 1966 to 24 March 1977 and second from 14 Jan.1980 to 31 Oct. 1984.

Morarji Desai:- Born: 29 February 1896, Gujarat, Died: 10 April 1995, Mumbai. Oldest to become PM @ 81 and first to resign from office and time period of Being PM was, from 24 January 1966 to 24 March 1977.

Charan Singh:- Born: 23 December 1902, Noorpur, Uttar Pradesh, Died: 29 May 1987, New Delhi. The time period of staying as PM was, from 28 July 1979 to 14 Jan. 1980.

Rajiv Gandhi:- Born: 20 August 1944, Bombay Presidency, Assassinated: 21 May 1991, Sriperumbudur. Youngest to become PM @ 40 and serving time as PM was, from 31 October 1984 to 2 December 1988.

V. P. Singh:- Born: 25 June 1931, Allahabad, Died: 27 November 2008, Apollo Hospitals. Serving time as PM was, from 2 December 1989 to 10 November 1990.

Chandra Shekhar:- Born: 1 July 1927, Ibrahimpatti, Died: 8 July 2007, Apollo Hospital, Indraprastha. He belongs to Samajwadi Janata Party and served as PM from 10 November 1990 to 21 June 1991.

P. V. Narasimha Rao:- Born: 28 June 1921, Laknepalli, Died: 23 December 2004, New Delhi. The serving time period was, from 21 June 1991 to 16 May 1996.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee:- Born: 25 December 1924, Gwalior, Died: 16 August 2018, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, Delhi. Atal Bihari Vajpayee served as PM two times. First was the shortest time period, i.e. from 16 May 1996 to 1 June 1996 and second was, from 19 March 1998 to 22 May 2004.

H. D. Deve Gowda:- Born: 18 May 1933 (age 85 years), Haradanahalli. He belongs to Janata Dal and served as PM from 1 June 1996 to 21 April 1997.

Inder Kumar Gujral:- Born: 4 December 1919, Punjab, Pakistan, Died: 30 November 2012, Medanta -The Medicity, Gurugram. He remains PM for 332 days (from 21 April 1997 to 19 March 1998 332 days).

Manmohan Singh:- Born: 26 September 1932 (age 86 years), Gah, Pakistan. Serving time as PM was, from 22 May 2004 to 26 May 2014 (almost for about 10 years).

Narendra Modi:- Born: 17 September 1950 (age 68 years), Vadnagar. He has chosen as PM on 26 May 2014 and is currently serving for our country.
